An employer's statement (werkgeversverklaring) is a mandatory document that is filled in by your employer, unless you have your own business or are retired. The document is used to provide insight into how your income is built up and what type of contract you have. When submitting the documents to the mortgage provider, the employer's statement may not be older than three months. So keep this in mind when filling in.
